It's been an emotional day for these people whom ended their journey as an American Idol contestant, as what the judges have said, it's just the beginning and there are more opportunities to come, their experience are fantastic and forever be remembered and this is what AI had given them as a gift. Ramielle, a Filipina contestant is still going strong and i truly hope that she'll be a part of the top 12 contestants, or could be the next American Idol. Last Duty Ever... Tomorrow... :p

Ok... after my sleep this night, I'll wake up and have our last duty ever!!! woooooh!!! So, we are having this community duty this past three weeks now, doing health teachings on different diseases and stuff... building rapport to people, hanging around, cleaning up the streets....yeah... What's that all about..??? nothing much.. :p So after every community duty a group must have something to help or contribute to the community, so we planned on giving out trashcans around 60 of them and spread it all over the community, this would happen tomorrow. Hopefully this would help on the betterment of the community's environment and we hope that they would be responsible enough to make use of their trashcans properly and all that. So happy duty to me... oooppss!!! that's still tomorrow....

Where is my PR??? Bring It Back... Please???

It's been few months now since I started this Personal Blog of mine. I don't have that knowledge about Page Rankings and all that, it's importance and others. Time passes through and my PR started to grow without me noticing and suddenly realized that I already gained a PR3 from this blog. Others may not see its importance but for me, it is like a reward or what and to think that it is my first ever blog or site, and started without so much knowledge on how to build sites and others, still consider myself as newbie and got a PR of 3...man that's already a big thing for me. I already did many things from this blog and just learned how to monetize from it coz i have no idea at first that i can earn through blogging. Others concluded that a certain paid post service may be the reason behind this bad news. If it would been true, oh boy I'm a victim... I'm still hoping that my pr will soon come back to its normal rank.... I'll just cross my fingers to that. Maybe you could help me know what's goin' on here... I need a good explanation or advices maybe...

Very Busy Day

I woke up in the morning with so much plans for today. Midterm exam was a bit tough yesterday and now, our rest day. No classes so I think of things that would make my day. These past few days my aunt and i planned to repaint the living room and so it happened and we also decided to also include my room.. cool.. and i can chose whatever color i want which is lime green. My aunt hired a person to paint the living room but we are so disappointed because this man was so slow and just abusing the 300 pesos per day, meaning he works so slow so that he could still come back the other day and get paid.

It's been four days and he's not yet done so I decided to paint my room myself, I sometimes help in paintings before like painting the doors and cabinets but this is my first time to paint a large part of the house.. the painting turned out nice... I started at 11 am, stopped at around 1.30pm because my cousin will attend their prom and she asked me to do her make up and hair, we finished at around 3pm, i continued my work had a break after an hour, my aunt made me french fries for snacks. :) and pursue my work after I finished painting my room with 2 coatings at around 6 pm. And it's not over, i have to cook something for tomorrow's class, I used to sell foods every saturday since our schedule is whole day and everybody need foods!!!.. I sell pastries, baked products like pizza roll or empanadas. A very tiring day but it's good that i accomplish so many things today.

One of my favorite uncle, a seaman, just arrived home and of course pass by duty free and brought "pasalubongs" and chocolates for some relatives... including me!!! yipee!!! I'm a sweet tooth person, i love sweets!!! and i'm a sweet person too!!! :p I have bunch of chocolates now but I know how to control myself from eating. Sometimes I even forgot that I still have stocks, so sometimes I just give them out to my friends when i think that i cant finish them up and also expiry date is coming very soon so i give them up to them. Last Hospital Duty Day in the Ward

Finally, we're done on our scheduled hospital duties for the semester. We would be in the community duty for the the last three weeks. Last few weeks we had our duties in the ward of different hospitals. I'm happy that this is our last day but i will surely miss those toxicated days of my life. Handling so many patients is disastrous.

Being "toxic" or "toxicated" ??? Hmmm.. how should I describe these words?

• Being assigned to six or more patients,
• taking their vital signs "q1" or every hour, "q2" for every two hours,
  
• mostly bedridden patients,
  
• your clinical instructor told you to change the bed linens of all your patients,
  
• your clinical instructor requires you to bath bedridden patients
• giving them their medicines, not only one but some patients has a dozen different medications to take,
  
• and bad thing is that your clinical instructor would ask you first the indication of that drug, contraindications and all that before giving it to patients.
• charting and writing on Nurses notes
• checking out if doctors made rounds, check their orders and carried them out

And other special procedures... Whew.. really tiring that you just want to cry and go home at that moment.


Anyways, next week is our community duty. We will go to a community, visit families, do health teachings, provide them with leaflets and other stuffs,do surveys, make programs and all that. This is much easier than that of duties in the hospital. But the bad news is that... it's nearly summer!!! it's really hot nowadays especially in the afternoon and we're in the community walking around and visiting different homes... we are scheduled 8am to 3pm, so bringing umbrella is a must.. !!!! So goodluck to our group.. may our community duty be exciting, memorable, not tiring and I'm praying for a good climate... yipee!!!!

Tomorrow, February 4, 2008, at 00:00 GMT (7:00 p.m. New York /EST), NASA will beam the Beatles’ “Across The Universe” to the star Polaris, 431 light years away (that’s 431 years travel at the speed of light before our all-time favorite Beatles song reaches the 2.5 quadrillion miles away star). This is being done to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the song, the 45th anniversary of NASA’s Deep Space Network, an international network of antennas that supports missions to explore the universe, and the 50th anniversary of NASA.

Across the Universe

NASA has invited people around the world to play “Across the Universe” on their audio systems at the same time NASA beams its mp3 version into outer space. The idea was hatched by Beatles’ historian Martin Lewis, who encourages all Beatles fans to play the track as it is being beamed to the distant star. Additionally, this date will be known as “Across the Universe Day”. The event marks the first time a radio song has been beamed into deep space.
