…One day God had work for me to do. He showed me a rock and told me to push it with all my might. For many years, I pushed and pushed but nothing happened. The rock hasn’t moved an inch. In discouragement, I asked God why I am failing.

The Lord responded,” Your task is to push the rock. Never did I mention that you move it. Now, I, my child will move the rock”…Obedience to God is easy if we only know how to listen. He doesn’t want us to suffer, He only wants us to LEARN.

Thanks to DiP he updated me about Charice Pempengco. She was invited in Ellen Degeneres Show and she rocked the whole house down with her performance. Everybody was so amazed and touching that Ellen gave her an ipod touch because it was said that Charice lost her own ipod on her way there... I'm so happy for her... Go Charice.. Your the best!!!

I’m still Sober..

-Kelly Clarkson

And I don’t know
This could break my heart or save me
Nothing’s real
Until you let go completely
So here I go with all my thoughts I’ve been saving
So here I go with all my fears weighing on me

Three months and I’m still sober
Picked all my weeds but kept the flowers
But I know it’s never really over

And I don’t know
I could crash and burn but maybe
At the end of this road I might catch a glimpse of me
So I won’t worry about my timing, I want to get it right
No comparing, second guessing, no not this time

Three months and I’m still breathing
Been a long road since those hands I left my tears in but I know
It’s never really over, no

Wake up

Three months and I’m still standing here
Three months and I’m getting better yeah
Three months and I still am

Three months and it’s still harder now
Three months I’ve been living here without you now
Three months yeah
Three months I hurt

Three months and I’m still breathing
Three months and I still remember it
Three months and I wake up

Three months and I’m still sober
Picked all my weeds but kept the flowers

A Golden Controversy

Golden Compass Stirs Up Searches

The Web has made it a lot easier to convey outrage. Witness the controversy (and buzz) surrounding "The Golden Compass" a new children's film starring Nicole Kidman and Daniel Craig. The anger stems from the belief that the film is anti-religion and pro-atheism. Some folks plan to boycott the film as a sign of protest. Ironically, searches on "atheism" and "define atheism" have both spiked in response to their efforts.

Clearly, people are hearing the message, but not in the way the protestors had hoped. So, will the boycott hurt or help the film's performance? Searches on "the golden compass" are up 50% this past week and queries on "golden compass controversy" have experienced a similar surge. Some people are looking forward to the flick while others are looking forward to convincing folks to stay home. Let's see who will win. - yahoobuzz

anyways for those who haven't seen the movie and it's trailer, here's the trailer of the said movie:
