Funny Thing
One time, two of my groupmates Nico and Shappy were chatting, talking about how fat they are, Nico said "Look at my tummy, eventhough it's kinda big, it's firm! (while holding his tummy), look at Ron (knowing that his groupmate was beside him), Ron's tummy is big but soft" (while holding the other persons tummy, and really really touching and rubbing it). At that moment everyone started to laugh out loud because it was not Ron's tummy that he was touching and rubbing but it was the Nurse itself working in the station. HahaHa... He was so ashamed that he don't know what to do... He apologized and good thing this nurse was kind and just laugh... a really funny moment for that day....

Farewell to Heath Ledger
Heath Ledger, the Australian-born actor whose breakthrough role as a gay cowboy in the 2005 movie "Brokeback Mountain" earned him a nomination for an Academy Award, was found dead Tuesday in an apartment in Manhattan with sleeping pills near his body, the police said.
The police said Mr. Ledger, 28, was found naked on the floor near the bed in an apartment in SoHo that he had been renting. The chief police spokesman, Paul J. Browne, said the police did not suspect foul play.
“There was no indication of a disturbance,” he said, adding that there were no signs that Mr. Ledger had been drinking. Nor were any illegal drugs found in the loft, which takes up the entire fourth floor. Neighbors said Mr. Ledger had occupied it for several months.
Police officials said that a bottle of prescription sleeping pills was found on a nearby night table, but that they did not know whether the pills had anything to do with Mr. Ledger’s death. Officers who checked the apartment found other prescription medications in the bathroom. A spokeswoman for the medical examiner’s office said an autopsy would be conducted on Wednesday.
Mr. Browne said no obvious indication of suicide, like a note, was found in the bedroom.
Mr. Ledger had become a familiar figure in his SoHo neighborhood — and something of a fixture in gossip columns — since moving there after he broke up with the actress Michelle Williams who played his wife in “Brokeback Mountain.”
There were reports of hand-holding and lip-locking with various actresses and models, and sightings at restaurants and cocktail bars. He had clashed with paparazzi in Australia, but in New York, where there is no shortage of problem-causing partygoers, “he certainly wasn’t one of them,” said Paul Sevigny, an owner of the Beatrice Inn, a West Village club that Mr. Ledger frequented.
“He was really polite and nice,” said Mr. Sevigny.
The police said Mr. Ledger’s body was found after a masseuse arrived at the apartment at 2:45 p.m. for her regular appointment with Mr. Ledger. A housekeeper let her in and knocked on the door of Mr. Ledger’s bedroom. No one answered.
The housekeeper and the masseuse pushed open the bedroom door and saw Mr. Ledger, unconscious, on the floor. They shook him but could not revive him, and then called for help, the police said. The housekeeper told officers that she had heard him snoring in the bedroom around 12:30 p.m., the police said.

Save from Shopping Online
Apple had recently introduced the new iPod classic, featuring 80GB or 160GB of storage that holds your entire collection of music, photos, video, podcasts and games—this is up to 40,000 songs or 200 hours of video. Wow you can even have movie marathon especially when travelling. Now in its sixth generation, the new iPod classic delivers all the features customers love about their iPods, plus an enhanced user interface featuring Cover Flow and a new all-metal enclosure.
iPod classic is priced at just $249 for the 80GB model and $349 for the 160GB model. Expensive but there are ways on which you can find this kind of good gadget for a very low price compared to its original price. There are many online shopping sites that would give you this product but ofcourse it is much better if you can purchase it at a low price. Savebuckets for example is a good opportunity for you to browse at different sites on which the product is available. If you had a target amount or your money is limited Savebuckets could help you find links where products are amounted to what you expect or its near the price you wanted. It gives you price comparison on different links that has your wanted product. Very efficient and hassle free.. what can I say.....

Nursing Home Still Goes On
As a nursing student, I am familiar with different health care institutions that are really helpful for patients, we are able to have a duty in a nursing home for elderly and it was a nice experience. We pity these old people but we have realized that for some it is better that they've been admitted there rather than to be with their family that didn't mind them at all nor give them the proper care that they need.
Nursing homes is said to be a facility for care for patients that are not really that sick to demand hospital care but for those who are not able to stay at home. Mostly, these nursing homes include elderly patients, those who had ill or had chronic or long term diseases that are sometimes irreversible and those with disabling disorders. At first medical and nursing care were minimal but today nursing home plays an active role in health care. Most nursing homes had very well trained staffs that treats the residents well. They are guiding and helping their patients to be prepared to live at home or with a family member as a much as possible. It is a good alternative for elderly people who had for example a very mild disease which has in need of proper care only than having them on expensive hospitals. But sometimes, we must think first and be considerate on putting elderly people in nursing homes, if we can and if we are still able to, then we must be the one who must give the care that they deserve but of course, if there's nothing that we can do, nursing home could be the best place for them.

Thought for the Day...
reunion and decided to go visit their old university professor, now retired.
During their visit, the conversation turned to complaints about stress in
their work and lives.
Offering his guests hot chocolate, the professor went into the kitchen and
returned with a large pot of hot chocolate and an
assortment of cups -porcelain, glass, crystal, some plain looking, some
expensive, some exquisite - telling them to help themselves to the
Hot Chocolate.
***
When they all had a cup of hot chocolate in hand, the professor said:
"Notice that all the nice looking, expensive cups were taken, leaving behind
the plain and cheap ones.
While it is normal for you to want only the best for yourselves, that is the
source of your problems and stress.
The cup that you're drinki ng from adds nothing to the quality of the hot
chocolate.
In most cases it is just mo re expensive and in some cases even hides what we
drink.
What all of you really wanted was hot chocolate, not the cup; but you
consciously went for the best cups...
And then you began eyeing each others cups.
***
Now consider this: Life is the hot chocolate; your job, money and position in
society are the cups.
They are just tools to hold and contain life.
The cup you have does not define, nor change the quality of life you have.
Sometimes, by concentrating only on the cup, we fail to enjoy the hot
chocolate God has provided us.
***
God makes the hot chocolate, man chooses the cups.
The happiest people don't have the best of everything.
They just make the best of everything that they have.
***
Live simply.
Love generously.
Care deeply.
Speak kindly.
And enjoy your hot chocolate

Christina Aguilera and Nicole Richie | Back-to-Back Hollywood Celebrity Child Births
The stork was working overtime at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center this weekend, where Nicole Richie and Christina Aguilera gave birth to bouncing bundles of joy.
Richie and boyfriend Joel Madden welcomed daughter Harlow Winter Kate Madden, who weighed six pounds, seven ounces and has already gone home with her proud parents.
"The beautiful healthy baby girl left the hospital with her ecstatic parents," a rep for the couple told People.
"He is a beautiful, healthy baby boy!" the couple's rep told People. "Mom is resting and doing well!"
IV Removal
The doctor made rounds and ordered MGH(may go home) to this patient since she is well already and so, the patient's IV must be removed since she can go home. Since I am a fourth year student nurse, we are allowed to remove IVs already, so i was the one who did the job... I have done this for few times but still you can't remove the fear because this is an IV(intravenous-|connected to a vein|), I'm afraid that i would inflict pain to my patient.
While I was removing first the tape, I really tried to talk to her about things so that I can get her attention, I was able to remove the needle and she was still talking, I don't know if i induce pain after I remove the needle itself so I asked her if there was pain, and she said that she didn't even notice that the needle was already removed, and praised me for having good and light hands. i'm so happy about this, that it made me smile the whole shift...
Five Hot Business Careers, No MBA Needed
MBA doesn't stand for "Money Boost Assured." Sure, the degree can help you land a higher salaried job-- but it may pay to think outside the MBA box, say some experts.
"MBA degrees are crutches," contends Penelope Trunk, author of "Brazen Careerist: The New Rules for Success" (Business Plus, 2007). "The more you move around outside of the Fortune 500, the less you need an MBA."
Here's an overview of five promising careers that don't require an MBA to get ahead.
1. Event Planning
If you possess organizational skills, creativity, and a sparkling personality, you may want to become a party or event planner. It'll be your job to make sure that Bar Mitzvahs, corporate receptions, and weddings take place without a hitch. Attention to detail is a must: Party planners are in charge of everything, from choosing a venue, ordering food, proofing invitations, and making travel arrangements.
Lots of evening and weekend work is required, but the rewards are many. While event planners sometimes earn a flat fee of a few thousand dollars per event, many typically charge an hourly rate that ranges from $20 to $40. The more complex the event (think of a post-Oscar party!), the more money a planner can command.
2. Public Relations (PR)
Are you what "The Tipping Point" author Malcolm Gladwell termed a "connecter": someone who knows everybody and for whom networking comes naturally? If so, a career in public relations may be your path to success sans an MBA. PR professionals draft press releases, organize events, and contact media to obtain coverage for the organizations and products they represent. They tend to be creative, resourceful, and have superb communication skills.
Be aware: PR associates often work irregular schedules, and unpaid overtime is common. Although there is no specific educational requirement necessary to break into the field, taking on internships in the field during your undergraduate studies are often the surest ways to securing a job. The median salary for a public relations specialist was $43,830, according to 2004 government stats, although experienced PR workers can earn upwards of $81,000 per year.
3. Advertising
Obsessed with the new TV show "Mad Men"? Though times have changed, advertising is still a thriving career for those with the energy, creativity, and drive to put in long hours in exchange for that expense account. Advertising sales agents work for ad agencies and typically hold a bachelor's degree in a related field, such as communications or marketing. They create ad campaigns for corporations, and help coordinate the efforts of copywriters, art and marketing departments. Travel is part and parcel of most ad jobs. The median salary for advertising account executives is $40,300, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
4. Web Designer
Thanks to the Internet boom, trained Web designers re in demand. These creative professionals work with companies to design and maintain Web sites that effectively convey their corporate missions, contact information, latest news, and more. Web designers must be well versed in HTML and computer graphics programs like Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator and Flash, which are often taught in 6- to 12-month certificate programs.
While freelancers can work out of a home office, Web Designers must be especially attentive of deadlines and willing to make last-minute changes beyond 5 p.m. and on weekends. The average salary is just under $60,000 per year.
5. Search Engine Optimization
You've no doubt heard the terms "search engine optimization," or SEO. Professionals in this field help increase traffic to Web sites. There are currently more jobs than skilled marketers available to fill them. Salary starts at $40,000, but a proven marketer can earn in the six figures.
When it comes to search engine optimization -- a very new field -- degrees are secondary to proven experience," says Amanda Vega, owner of Amanda Vega Consulting, which provides Web site development, marketing, advertising, and public relations services. Vega holds an MBA from Columbia University but says education was a personal goal, not merely a means of making more money. "You gain advancement both in title and salary through hard work and experience."

Whatta Day For all of us...
The car was very fast that we accidentally hit a pushcart/mini rolling store of goto and other stuffs while it was crossing along the street and we never realized that it was there, its too late when we saw it.. like it just appeared in front of the car while we are driving too fast, the pushcart was totally wrecked that everything that was on it really stumbled down the road. Everything ran so fast, good thing we hit the cart itself not the people who are pushing it. The front of the car was a little wrecked, some of us was a bit hurt because of the impact and for pressing the breaks of the car while we are driving so fast, most of us got bruises.. but we are ok... And one thing.. Police headquarters is just a few steps away from the incident and so.. we settled everything there. Ron called his dad to help us fix the problem, Ron's dad said we must still have our duty so we decide to commute to be able to get there.. whatta day.. such a traumatizing experience...
